Need help on CMDB reports to be created

Hi All,

How can i create the below reports from CMDB?

Accuracy of relationships between CI records

Percentage of records with required attributes filled

Number of records with outdated information

Completeness of CI relationships

Check on the OOB Health Dashboards to see what already is in place. There is a big issue with you answer and that is that you don't define anything, so telling you how to create the report will be tricky, because that needs the conditions.

If you have the conditions, you can either create normal reports, update the OOB Health indicators to get your data or use the CMDB Query Builder to do more complex CMDB queries (including relations).

Things to either work on yourself, or ask the stakeholders/key users:

• How do you define 'Accuracy'? When is a relationship not accurate?
• What are the required attributes? Are those the mandatory fields? Do you only need a name and an owner? 
• When is information outdated? How do you define that? An application that has been updated last 5 years ago, can still contain all up to date info, while another one that was updated last week now has an owner that is no longer with the company. 
• When are relationships complete? If there is one? Isn't this related to the first one? 

ServiceNow offers OOB functionality for this. Dive into that and see if it is enough to help you and change parameters if needed, but first check on your own definitions.
