Hi All help will be appreciated is there a way to limit the subtopics (child topics) to only show 4 even though there are multiple subtopics under the Main Topic example shown in screenshot i want only show 4 and the remaining can be displayed if the end user clicks browse all.

This i want to achieve to ensure where there are multiple subtopics it does not destroy the user experience

Hi @VidhukeshV,

You should be able to do this via Advanced Portal Navigation capability - https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-employee-service-management/page/product/employee-cente...

  • Navigate to Employee Center > Advanced Portal Navigation
  • Open the active = true record

  • In the Menu Items related list, open the parent Topic record
  • Find your child topic or drill down further if required
  • To hide the topics, set the Active field to false

My understanding is that you will have to repeat the process whenever a new topic is added.

Cheers

This does not solve the purpose the subtopics and the topics under that subtopic gets inactive .ie when i click on the browse all example in above Accessories now is not visible at all

Are you sure you updated the menu item record and not the topic record?

As you can see below, the menu item is disabled but the topic is still accessible from the parent topic page.
