Need Help to Set the State Field to Closed in SNOW to Reflect in JIRA – Bidirectional Integration

Hello All - 

 

I am currently working on the bidirectional integration for JIRA. I have created a Flow Designer where I’m mapping fields from SNOW to JIRA using the Create Issue JIRA Spoke action. Additionally, a webhook has been set up to update the work notes and change the state to Resolved from JIRA to SNOW.

 

I’ve also created an Update Trigger flow to update the comments and set the state to Resolved from SNOW to JIRA. However, I’m encountering a challenge in setting the state field to Resolved in SNOW and ensuring the change reflects correctly in JIRA.

 

Updates to work notes and the state be reflected as Resolved from both ends. Specifically, if a ticket is closed in JIRA, it should be reflected in SNOW, and if the ticket is closed in SNOW, it should reflect in JIRA.

 

If anyone has experience with this or any suggestions, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Koyel Guha , can you provide more details on how you are trying to change the state of the JIRA ticket? What endpoint are you using? Can you provide screenshots or a sample json file. Do you have some conditions in JIRA, like mandatory fields before resolving a story?
