Hi Folks!
I've been trying many ways to build a function that I could use to secure certain asset contracts by a role.
I've managed to get everything working except I'm stuck on graphical based reports. Here's what I've done:
1. New Role: "Sensitive contracts"
2. Added Data Filtration App and configured a rule that only allows the new role to see records with the security level field in asset contracts set to "Sensitive".
Now all the lists and reports, and visibility is removed except when I create a graphical report. I can see a bar graph displaying for a non-sensitive contracts users a contract model type "Lease" and hovering over it, it shows the Total Cost although all those contracts are marked sensitive and clicking that link, returns no results, and all other reports clearly indicate records have been removed due to security constraints. My limitation is only on the bar graphs.
Read online about business rules and queries, tried that and adjusting report_view security rules but no luck. Anyone have a solution to this that they can provide? please provide step by steps if possible? I've tried quite a few things now.
