Hoping everyone is doing well today!
I am running into a slight dilemma and looking for some guidance/expertise here.
We have a catalog item which allows folks to ask for, and check out, loaner equipment. On that item, we have a variable called 'Return Date'. in which the requestor enters the date they will return the borrowed hardware.
I have a requirement to calculate and display days remaining until Return Date and then add this to a dashboard so the support team can see at a glance (without clicking into each request) how many days left are left until that Return Date.
I tried an On Display business rule which works, but does not update the list view, making my report useless at the moment as I need this to be dynamic and update every time the report is loaded on the dashboard. So I'm looking for some advice on direction to take. Not sure what type of solution would fit the requirement here. Going to keep digging, but wondered if anyone might have some suggestions.
