Hello All,

I want to hide the options available for Contextual text search on Incident form and limit it only for Knowledge Articles.

This is configurable in search action configuration.

https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/sandiego-platform-administration/page/administer/contextual-search/task/modify-search-actions-avail-for-cxs.html

Ddi you try below

Navigate to Contextual Search >>Table Configuration.
Open a record.
In the Search Action Configurations related list, view the list of search actions available for the contextual search. To disable a search action, set the value of Active to false.

Hello,

Follow below steps.

1) See how it displays for me

find_real_file.png

2) Go to 'cxs_table_config' and find entry for Incident like below

find_real_file.png

3) Open it, See 'Search context' and open in new tab.

find_real_file.png

4) Under searcher you can see reference field pointing to 'Knowledge, Pinned, Catalog' now so just change it to 'knowledge only'

Before change :

find_real_file.png

After change:

find_real_file.png

5) Save the form and reload incident, It will look like this.

find_real_file.png

Note : 'Search Context' Incident deflection may be used somewhere else so if you don't want this change to reflect everywhere then create new Search context for Incident and follow these steps so that it will be reflected only in Incident form

Mark my answer as correct if that helps.
