Need to generate and download Excel with a button on Catalog Item

Hi All,

 

I need a button/URL on catalog item form. on click, I need an excel sheet need to be generated and downloaded with prepopulated data from the catalog variables along with headers. 

 

Please suggest. could you please help me with the approach/design with code

Using flow designer - you can achieve it easily

but why this much customization?

I don't think it's a valid business requirement.

End user can always see the variables for the request they submitted from My Requests in ESC
