Need to migrate from HP Service Manager (HPSM) to ServiceNow

Hi Experts,

Could you please help me with migration of HPSM to ServiceNow. What are the best practices.

Is there a document or the process steps to follow in order to migrate from HPSM to ServiceNow.

Please help me with the best practices what we should follow in order to achieve this as I need to work on this.

There are various points you need to consider while migrating from HPSM to ServiceNow

 

- Configure Data Sources for loading foundation data in service now ( users, company, department, locations, cost centers etc

- Configure CMDB discovery sources like discovery, SCCM etc to import CIs and relationships in CMDB

- Configure ITSM process in ServiceNow ( Make sure that you stay OOB as far as possible)  as best practise.

- Build integrations on service now platform ( if you have them in HPSM)

- Report and Dashboards ( You will have to build these in service now)

- Configure Orchestration sources in service now if applicable.
