New Connect Chat notification pop ups not working

I can´t get the pop up (like below) to work for any of our HR analysts.

I´ve activated the desktop notifications under connect in the general settings for the users i´m testing with. 

Pop up blocker is turned off on IE and also allowed on Chrome. 

Has anyone sen any other reasons why this would be blocked or not working?

Could that be disabled anywhere else or is there any plugin that would block pop ups such as this in SNOW?

I´m informed this is a known issue in pre MADRID releases and has been fixed in MADRID.

Is there any specific patch version for this to work propely as we are in patch 5 and HR agents are facing the issue at times.

I could get this working only when the notification setting on Google chrome is set to "Allow" and not "ask".  In my case at work this was a setting set by the administrator and although you would imagine that if you hit yes when asked if you want to allow pop ups it does not work.  I installed Firefox which didn´t have any restrictions and it worked fine.  Maybe test that and see if you get the same results.

If it wporks with that then it is likely not a SNOW issue and instead a Chrome issue.

I am facing the same issue, since monday the pop up and sound are gone. I tried to reactivate it in the browser and in snow... no luck.

Can someone help me with that?
