New field in Azure AD for provisioning

Hi, actually we have the single sign on and provisioning user information with Azure Active Directory, and we need to add fields to the mapping between Azure and ServiceNow.

I have created a new field on sys_user table named Organizational Unit (org_unit), and also we have added a new field on Azure with the same name and mapped with Active Directory to get the information.

There is something else I have to do to map this new field of Azure with the new field of ServiceNow (Organizational Unit) to get the information from Azure and update the user information?

Thanks and regards

Alex

Hello Alejandro,

I think you may need to add a claiming rule additionally on Azure side to make sure that new attribute can be used in user provisioning. In case, if that does not help, then please check script include "MultiSSO_SAML2_UserProvisioning" which handles the user provisioning in instance. I haven't tried it ever but expecting it to work.

Please give it a try and share the outcome!
