No records displayed due to securiy constraints

Dear all,

When a user queries a list of records normaly this list of records is displayed on the users screen in the list-view exept when the user does not have the rights to see the records. When this is the case, the message 'records not displayed due to security constraints' is displayed. All the records the the user is alowed to see are displayed of course. So far so good.

As soon as there are many records involved in the 'security constraints' situation (ie the user is not allowed to see the records), and these records are the first number of records in the list-view, it appears for the user that no records are selected at all: The users screen is (more or less) empty. Yes: There is the 'security constraints' message and Yes: There is the indication that more pages of records exist but this (I think out_of_the_box) behavior is 'strange' for many users.

Does anyone have a simple solution for this? Is this issue solved in Eureka? The required behavior should be that the records the user is allowed to see are displayed + a 'security constraints' message indicating that not all the records are displayed.

Awaiting your suggestions,

Best regards,

Thanks I have read that. We cannot use a before query BR.

The KB states it's by design and to educate your users. I am saying this is a bad design, and the users shouldnt need to by educated as to why most of their list view pages are blank.
