Hi ,

This is a known error. Check the ACL on 'sys_user.notification'. You can refer to the below doc for more detail:

error when trying to change "Allow Notifications".

The above doc was taken from the HI website. These steps are taken from the Resolution section of this doc...
1) Go to Filter Navigator and search for ACL
2) On Name, search for sys_user.notification and select the ACL
3) Please check that the users that should be able to modify either have the correct role or add them to "Requires Role"
4) If there is a Condition, make sure to modify accordingly to allow required users to be able to modify
5) If there is a Script, make sure to modify accordingly to allow required users to be able to modify
6) Click update
Please mark it as helpful (or) correct if it helps

Hi Sumanth,
I can not find the ACL. However, I created that ACL (write operation). didn't work.

Hi @Mairaj426 ,

There is maintained flag "Notification" in sys_user record. You can enable notifications for user in user record.

Not sure if this is release dependant (checked on Washington now), but going directly to this link seems to work fine for non-admin users, and allows configuring notifications completely:
