Not able to search model using model number

I have a able called u_device.In there i have a field called model and i want to search the models using model number. model is a reference field of hardware model table, which has the display name as display value. now when i am giving a condition in simple reference qualifier i am not seeing any values in the model field. it is saying no results. but i need the condition there.

means you don't have records satisfying that ref qualifier.

are you checking as an admin?

Did you apply the same simple ref qualifier on the Hardware model table and see if it gave you results?
