Notification is not getting triggered to Assignment Group

Hi all,

I have created a notification where In Who Will Receive Tab I'm adding User/Groups in Field "Assignment Group". My question is, does the notification trigger to Assignment Group if that group does not have any Email ID?  and all group members are not active?

Greetings!

The notification will not trigger in that case. It should have group email or active users. If the group doesn't have group email and it has active users, the notification will go to all active group members.
