Hi All,
I created an inbound action which triggers an event and a notification triggers and sends a reply to the sender of incoming email, if it is not processed by none of the existing inbound actions. The notification will be different based on the sender of the email is internal user or external user.
I am seeing a notification triggered for the mail sent from my Gmail account(external user) as expected. But, not seeing any notification triggered if I sent an email from my outlook to service now account(internal user). I could see in the logs, logic of email script is getting executed as expected. But, nothing seen in outbox.
I select checkbox 'event parm1 contains recipient' in notification and sending the first parameterof event as 'email.from'.
I have checked notification field value is enable for my user record.
Solved! Go to Solution.

There is a checkbox on one of tabs in the notification record that is called "Send to event creator". Unless you check that checkbox, you will not receive the notification if you trigger it yourself.
