When I submit a contract for review an email gets sent to the approver saying that you need to approve it as shown below

But when a colleague submits a contract for review with the exact same approver no email is triggered?

Can anyone explain why?

@joshmorris

did you check from where this email is getting triggered?

what's the trigger conditions?

how is that colleague submitting?

he's doing it the same as me. I even impersonated him and it wont trigger the email but does on my account.

@joshmorris

please share these details

1) did you check from where this email is getting triggered?

2) what's the trigger conditions?

3) the email notification has hard-coded email so it's always sending to only 1 person all the time?

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi, I figured it out. It was because the same person who submits the contract cannot be the approver.
