To ensure that a notification is sent to the person in the "Assigned to" field when an incident is created in ServiceNow.

Am I doing this right? Also how would I test this? Can someone help me out on how to do this.

Your configuration looks right. In order to test, you can check "Send to event creator" (if it's not on the form, you can set it to true in the list-view) and assign an incident to yourself. You should receive the notification.

Hi @SaneenP Just to add up to @Jordan Vignoni answer.

 

Once the email is triggered, in non prod environments and PDIs you can check in the email logs from All menu (All -> System Logs -> Email), typically in these instances email sending will be disabled.
