Hello,
I have configured Smart Document for a custom table in ServiceNow.
So far, I have completed the following setup:
Installed the Document Intelligence plugin
Activated the Smart Document skill
Enabled the system property: glide.ui.seismic.attachment.dialog.renderInAppShell
Verified that I have the required roles (including admin)
After completing these steps, I can see the “Ask Now Assist” button in the Document Viewer. However, the button is not responding when clicked.
Could someone please help me resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi! I believe I'm having the exact same issue. My observation:
It seems to launch the Now assist panel behind the document viewer modal. If you close the Document Viewer, you will notice Now Assist panel is active and has a chat initiated; it's just being rendered beneath the Document Viewer modal, which shouldn't be the case. I'm trying to collect more information to raise an HI ticket. Will share when I have any further updates. Thanks!

Oh, having the Now assist panel pinned to the side and 'glide.ui.seismic.attachment.dialog.renderInAppShell' set to 'true' actually fixed it for me. Still not visible if the panel is detached though, but at least now I have a workaround.
