Hello,

I have configured Smart Document for a custom table in ServiceNow.

So far, I have completed the following setup:

  • Installed the Document Intelligence plugin

  • Activated the Smart Document skill

  • Enabled the system property: glide.ui.seismic.attachment.dialog.renderInAppShell

  • Verified that I have the required roles (including admin)

After completing these steps, I can see the “Ask Now Assist” button in the Document Viewer. However, the button is not responding when clicked.

Could someone please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

First, make sure that the table that you are using is included in the Smart Docs skill setup. For example, if you are using Smart Docs for incidents, make sure to add the incident table to the allowed tables in the skill setup.

After that, the button should appear. Click the button and then check for new RCAs.
