Trying to integrate on premise Jira with SAM Pro ServiceNow. Below are the steps I have followed.

1. Configured the connection in Flow designer (Jira Spoke).

2. Direct Integration profile is created.

I have tried with - www.xyz.com:443 and with mid server

When I run below scheduled jobs

SAM - Jira Direct Integration Activity - its getting failed.

SAM - Refresh Jira Direct Integration Subscriptions - Its completed but the records are not loaded to "samp_sw_subscription" table. The service account which Iam using is having Jira admin access.

Can any one help me on this please and suggest If Iam missing any steps here.

Thanks.

You can troubleshoot the issue by checking the service account permissions, logs, mid server, Jira Spoke connection, and Jira Direct Integration Subscriptions job. If you are still having problems, you can contact ServiceNow support for help.  marykayintouch

Hi GOwthaman1

The scheduled jobs are not functioning as expected. Please find some suggestions here;

  1. Double-check the configuration of the Jira connection in the Flow designer. Ensure that the connection details, such as the URL (e.g., www.xyz.com:443) or the mid server configuration, are accurate and properly set up.

  2. Review the Direct Integration profile that you have created. Confirm that all the required settings and credentials are correctly configured. Pay attention to any specific requirements mentioned in the integration documentation for connecting Jira with SAM Pro ServiceNow.

  3. Examine the logs or error messages generated by the failed scheduled job, "SAM - Jira Direct Integration Activity." These logs can provide insights into the specific error or exception that is causing the failure. Analyzing the error messages can help identify any missing steps or misconfigurations.

  4. Ensure that the service account you are using for the integration has the necessary Jira admin access permissions. Verify that the account has the required privileges to fetch and load records from Jira into the "samp_sw_subscription" table in ServiceNow.

Considering the complexities involved in integrating on-premise Jira with SAM Pro ServiceNow, you may want to explore a specialized integration solution like Exalate. I have been using it for quite a while and it works perfect for use-cases like this.
