Open Ports for Hermes Kafka cluster

I'm hoping someone can assist with this issue.

 

I'm trying to produce & consume messages to the Hermes Kafka cluster.  I was able to do this yesterday after I created 3 outbound firewall rules on my local PC using the information here.

 

This morning, I attempted to do the same thing and now the Hermes Diagnostics is reporting the following error:  One or more defined external ports are not open. Please contact Support.

 

I'm turned off the firewall on my laptop, disconnected from my company's VPN and to no avail.  Same error.

 

Any thoughts?

Hi Michael,

We're trying to setup the Log Export Service without a Kafka environment - I assume you were trying to do the same here and connect directly to Hermes - we've been unable to get this working. Are you able to share any details about what tool you were using and how you managed to set it up?
