Has anyone ever tried for using a open search plugin for your setup? I have tried this but this doesn't seems to be working for IE...

any ideas/suggestion much appreciated?

 

also any issues in implementing this? my leads are against this as it would cause browser compatibility issues.... and is there any security issue due to this???

Which plugin you mean? I couldn't find any plugins related to OpenSearch, but I'd be interested knowing more about this. Requirement is to use ServiceNow Knowledge Base as a source for searching and return the results according to OpenSearch standard.
