Generally speaking, integrations with OIM typically involve ServiceNow to query OIM for information on provisioning roles or entitlements for service requests within the ServiceNow platform. We have seen interactions with OIM take place over SOAP and, as another option, using a MID Server to consume Java JAR files for direct API calls into OIM.
In most cases the integrations start via the Service Catalog using workflows. Please Note, if you are involving the Workflow engine, Orchestration Licenses may be required.
That is all the info I have on it...maybe some of the community members that have done this personally can respond in more detail.

Hi Nick, have you finally done the integration? I'm interested in creating an integration as well, as John mentions.. it would be catalog items that triggers something on OIM.
John, would Orchestration Licenses be required even if I do everything from scratch instead of using SNOW Orchestration?
Thanks,

Hi Anand,
I did not integrate it yet. It's on our backlog, but with several things going before that.
Unfortunately I have no tips or advices for you yet,
Thanks!
