Hello folks, is it possible to pass the variable values given during the first stage of an Order Guide to the subsequent service catalog request(sc_request) that gets created ?
This is for a New Starter order guide which has a few variables like Department/Business/Start Date/Emp type etc., which do not have an associated catalog item. Is there a way to see all these variables on the REQ form that gets created from this order guide ?
Any thoughts on this please ?

Hi Andrews,
My case is bit different and it is not feasible for me to use the same variable set for both. Is there any way I can pass the variable values through script?
Thanks,
Tausif

I avoid Order Guides at nearly all costs. My suggestion. Make a record producer and have that thing do the logic and redirect as desired.

If you configure an Order Guide then there you will find a checkbox with name - Cascade Variables
If you do not find it in the form then pull it to the form view by configuring form layout. check this option to true.
Please ensure that both the variable names in order guide as well as the catalog item are same and mark them global , otherwise they wont cascade.
You can also use the same variable set in Order Guide as well as the catalog item.
Please Mark it Correct or Helpful if it solves your purpose
Regards,
Manoj Kumar.
