We have changed the system property glide.email.username but from a workflow notification it still displays the old value. What is the best way to change the workflow notification activity from display value and why would it not use the system property?

I opened a ticket with HI and got a quick response.
Deprecated mail server properties
Maybe I missed it before but there is a setting in Email Accounts under ServiceNow SMTP for Email user label that I did not see before. Changing that value has resolved the issues.

Yes that is the correct path and field that was changed. We just changed it to Service Management.

can we change the from email address in workflow notification.
