Override Character Limit of "Additional Comments" to 255 chars

Hi All,

I have a custom table extending Task table.

I need to override "Additional Comments" (type = Journal Input, table = task) field length to 255 chars from 4000. Could you please advise how it can be achieved?

Hi Ramandep,

Did you try Configuring the dictionary for the field & then increasing the length? Simply, Right click field label & then select Configure Dictionary & change the length to required number of characters. 100 in below is an example.

I don't think there is a maximum length property for journal input fields.
