Hi
If I have a scoped application and I have assigned "pa_admin" to manage the PA dashboards and content. The same user will be able to edit the PA dashboards and content outside of the scope as well.
Is there any way we can restrict that the admin can only access and update dashboards within the scoped app. Is there any application specific "pa_admin" role.

Hi @Deepak Negi ,
Remember that pa_admin is the admin rights for performance Analytics and have nothing to do with your custom scope. So basic, PA roles is "just" about creating performance analytics, where other roles assigned to the specific user gives access to the different tables.
If the user doesn't have access to the table due to role restriction, he will not be able to collect any data - even as PA_admin. below is defined in the scheduled job for capturing data:

Just create it yourself. It's a scoped application and if you have PA configured for it, it makes sense to have a role to handle this specifically. The pa_admin role is no special thing. It's the same as creating a role to handle your scoped app tickets.

@Mark Manders
How can we create new pa_admin role for only our applications' dashboards?

As Anders already mentioned, pa_admin is used for creating Performance Analytics. It is unclear to me what you exactly want the role to do, but you can create any role you want or need within your application to grant or limit access. What do you think your scoped pa_admin role should do? What are your requirements?
