In the Reports, Under the tab “Style” there is a field called Set palette which will be displayed for the type Bars, Pies and Donuts, Time Series.
Issue:
The color palette in the Reports tab under "Style" is set to Green to Red, but instead of displaying the expected colors, it shows pink to red or yellow to red, which is inconsistent with the requirement.
Expected Behaviour
- There should be a consistent display of colors from green to red according to the specified palette.
Change in the Behaviour
After an automatic upgrade, the color display has changed, possibly due to a modification in the underlying color definitions.
Reason for the issue
- There is a color definition for the Green to Red which even shows display1 as green but there is a field called “Themeable color” which has defined UX Theme Property.
- Themeable color overrides the display color when any Value is selected, but shows green when it is empty.
- After the auto upgrade, this is the changed behaviour found.
- It is because “Datavis Color - Qualitative 3” is having inherited pink color.
Solution:
- Themeable color can be empty, so that green will be displayed.
- To address this, the "Themeable color" should be set to a green color UX Theme Property, such as "Datavis Color - Green 2". This will ensure that the expected green to red color gradient is maintained consistently.
