Pass data from form to reference list to New button

I have a requirement where I have to pass some values from a form to a reference field list (which is empty) and then to the New button on that list to prepopulate some fields for the new record. I can't find a way to do that. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be achieved?

Hi Satishkumar, this doesn't seem to solve my exact problem but may point me in the right direction, so I have marked this as "Helpful". For now, I have been pulled off this to work on a higher priority issue, but hope to get back to this soon. Thanks for your reply.
