Passing input to server script from client script [service portal] in scoped application

I have created scoped application in which I have created service portal where in one custom widget I have passed some input from client side to server side "if(input.action!="notdone")" in which it is showing me above error that is " Error Server JavaScript error Cannot read property "action" from undefined".

Whereas this same widget is working properly in global scope.
