Passing values to approvers and customizing approver forms

Hi All , 

I need to send effort approval hours to approvers after catalog item is submitted . I am not taking effort approval details from user while submitting the form . This i need to analyse and send to approver . how i can achieve this functionality ?

How can i pass catalog task values to approvers ? How can i customize approvers form ? 

suggestions appreciated .

Hi,

Whenever catalog will be submitted that time you can create one task and you can assign it to yourself and as part of that task you can calculate the effort approval hours and update in task and complete the task. After task completion you can trigger the approval email and in that email you can send the details of effort approval hours from task.
