Hello @Omar Touri

Maximum days the PDI can be left inactive is 10 days, after that it is reclaimed.

If you're experiencing issues with your PDI, here are some important points to keep in mind:

  1. Support Limitations: PDIs do not have official support, so the community cannot retrieve or recover your instance.

  2. Instance Reset Option: You can release your current instance and request a new one, but this will erase all previous data.

To prevent data loss in the future, consider regularly backing up your PDI, especially for critical update sets.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Omar Touri

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hi @Omar Touri

I agree with @Dr Atul G- LNG there are few similar questions came in just few hours mentioning similar issues. So wait for sometime and try again.

If my response helped please “accept the solution” and hit thumbs up.

Regards,

Rohit

Waiting has never worked for me. Release and Request a new one. I loose my PDI at least 3 times per year. getting a new one and applying my Batch update set restores the PCI after an hour or so.
