Howdy Community,
I am working with an intern who got a personal instance to learn the platform & create a custom app.
Unfortunately, the instance has been down for over a week; Guidance is to release / refresh instance.
In this new instance:
Can the git-hub branches created for Needit application be added to this new instance?
(or will all of this work have to be redone?)
Thanks for your time,
Lon

Hi @Lon Landry4,
The PDI infrastructure has recently changed meaning a large number of PDI's have been migrated to a new Data Center. This has resulted in a large number (8K plus) of PDI's being released.
It maybe that your intern's instance was included in this and will have likely been released meaning the code is not recoverable.
If you/they have backed it up via a repository such as Github, then you should be able to reapply the code (depending on how the code was written and any references to the PDI itself - such as the instance domain name etc)
To help others (or for me to help you more directly), please mark this response correct by clicking on Accept as Solution and/or Kudos.
Thanks, Robbie

Hi Lon,
PDIs have no support and if you release and take a new instance, all work has to be done again. It will a fresh vanilla instance.
PDIs are just for training and personal learning. ServiceNow recommends that you take regular backups if your work as you can loose instance to maintaincence etc as well.
