PDI won't wake up for several hours

Is there a way to resolve this issue? My PDI won't wake up despite multiple attempts.

I see Many users face this issue, is there a possibility where ServiceNow team can come up with some support on this?

No, As i mentioned earlier, ServiceNow no longer provides support for PDIs.

Hmm..

 

This instance has been installing plugins for 10 days, only to stop working 3 days short of finishing the scheduled plugins installations...

 

Is scheduled updates not supported on PDI's I wonder?

Hi,

 

Did some testing and I have been able to reproduce the error with the PDI not being able to wake up.

But now I get this error:

We were unable to assign an instance to you. Please retry now.

I returned two and requested two new instances within the last 60 minutes which was useful to help to hone in on Update Sets causing the inability to wake up the instance...
 
  • Is there some sort of limit to to how many instances can be requested and released to the pool per hour?
  • If so what is my / the cool-off period here?
