Hi @shivaadapa ,
First of all, before creating anything, I would recommend you to contact your ServiceNow product Owner or ServiceNow administrator and investigate if ServiceNow performance Analytics is part of your product suite or not. Next, If you want to create performance analytics metrics, I would recommend you to learn the product before using through NowLearning: https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/now-learning-get-certified?id=amap_detail&summary_id...
This wil answer your question about, why performance analytics, what indicators are and so on.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
best regards
Anders

WHY DO WE USE PERFORMANCE ANALYTICS?
A report sees the data RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND. In many cases it can not evaluate what the data was in the past.
Its critical for measuring performance against outcomes.
For Incident Management, one outcome we want is lower resolution times. You can take the average age of the open tickets right NOW, but how easy is it to get the average age of open tickets from the perspective of 2 weeks ago? (answer: difficult)
You can picture PA as being a way to run an aggregate report every single interval, then compare intervals.
In many cases the only alternative is to keep excel open and transpose report results there every interval.
"your business must license Performance Analytics. Contact your sales representative for more information"
Performance Analytics is dependent on licensing. Unfortunately none of us can help you with that.
If this is a customer instance, that customer MUST talk to the sales rep.
If this is your PDI, go to developer.servicenow.com, log in, activate plugin:
Then activate the PA plugins.
