How to show a trend of assets which moved from stolen state to other states in performance analytics.

Why not create a metric definition? Create Metric based on stolen state, and report afterwards on actual state is not stolen.

You dont need to Use PA for this. Simply you can make use of standard report and metric table that can show the count of devices whose state changed from stole to other state.

Can you please breifly explain how to create a metric definition for the above case 
We need this metric definition on "alm_asset" table and it should record only when the assets state changes from missing to another states.
