Great day I am trying to get help from you all but I am having the hardest time reaching someone about my personal dev instance. When I upgraded it to the San Diego release all of my work is gone. None of my work is there anymore? I wanted to check if you could help me get it back. Please it is urgent! I have tried all over the place to get some help but I have yet to get anybody that will help me with this. Thank you!

 

 

The error is that I just updated my personal instance but none of my reports, record producers, nothing is there anymore? Where did all of my hard work go?

Hi Danielle,
By just upgrading data should not have been lost but now I believe that is not possible to restore unfortunatly. You can never rely on PDI for important data. ServiceNow does not support PDIs anymore from what i know always take backup of your important data.

How do I do a backup? Is there a step by step how to do that?

Now that you have the instance I don't think there is a way to do that. Restoring is possible when you release your instance and before requesting new one you have the option to restore sometime (not always). In the first place if you just upgraded then data should have been there.

This is so wrong... All I did was upgrade my older instance to San Diego and none of my record producers, reports, notifications, and more are there. None of my work is there?!
