Planned Start Date in Release Module

Hello Developers,

I need to understand how to configure the Planned Start Date field. Where users should not be allowed to choose between the past and previous dates. He should be able to choose current today's date or future date. 

Please guide me.

Best way for this create a UI policy on  Planned Start Date field if value selected in that field is less than today then throw the error and clear value.
