Is it mandatory to move to new Platform Analytics in Zurich?
Can we wait for another release like Australia or Brazil?
Platform Analytics Migration Center Documentation is not that clear and doesn't mention what happens if we don't migrate.

Hi @Khanna Ji
Based on my experience, if the migration isn't done, there’s a risk of losing access or needing to compromise reports and dashboards as part of legacy support. ServiceNow strongly encourages migrating to the latest version.
I'm not 100% sure whether we can delay the migration for another one or two releases, so I'm looping in Mark here, who has more detailed knowledge on this."
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

My understanding from ServiceNow docs is that while the migration to Platform Analytics is not yet absolutely enforced by Zurich, the plan now is to progressively shift everything over, and once you upgrade to Zurich (or if you skip it, Australia) ServiceNow intends to auto migrate assets rather than let core UI dashboards remain indefinitely, so waiting too long risks losing compatibility, support, or access to new features....
If you found my response helpful, please mark it as ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This helps other community members find the right answer more easily and supports the community.

Per KB1709387 - Platform Analytics Migration in Xanadu Release (https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1709387) it states the following:
Starting with the Xanadu release, new ServiceNow instances will rely solely on platform analytics, meaning traditional reports and dashboards will not be available. This change affects newly provisioned instances in the following ways:
- No Report menu or modules
- Performance Analytics is now under Platform Analytics Administration
- Dashboards (Self-Service > Dashboards) redirect to platform analytics instead of using the pa_dashboards table
Note: Upgraded instances will retain the reporting menu, Dashboard, and Performance Analytics functionality unless migrated to Platform Analytics.
