Hi @sruthig ,
No, not to my knowledge. I have seen this message several times (I also received it today and is on Vancouver release). Only option is to release as written and request a fresh installation.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
best regards
Anders

ServiceNow sends out emails to release developer instances that have been inactive for a certain period of time. This is to ensure that resources are efficiently used. Here are some steps you can take to prevent your developer instance from being retired: 1. Regularly Use Your Instance: ServiceNow typically retires instances that have not been used for a certain period of time. To prevent this, ensure you log in and use your instance regularly. 2. Upgrade Your Instance: Upgrading your instance to the latest release can help, but it does not guarantee that your instance will not be retired if it remains inactive. 3. Backup Your Data: If you have important data or configurations on your instance, make sure to back them up. You can use update sets or the XML export functionality to backup your data. 4. Reactivate Your Instance: If your instance gets retired, you can reactivate it by logging into the developer portal and requesting for it to be reactivated. However, note that any data or configurations on the instance may be lost. 5. Request for Extension: If you know you will not be able to use your instance for a while, you can try contacting ServiceNow support to request for an extension before your instance gets retired. Remember, the main trigger for instance retirement is inactivity, so the best way to prevent it is to regularly use your instance.

Hi there,
Like Anders mentioned, this message is shared by a ton of people also, regardless which release or that it was a pretty recent instance or a few years old.
Personally I didn't receive the email yet. No clue what the exact reason or logic is for who is getting the emails and who is not.
Anyway, you should ALWAYS backup your work, as a PDI might disappear or hibernate indefinitely suddenly. The free PDI's also come without any support.
Kind regards,

No @sruthig
No dependency on Release version.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
