Portal search bar is not working and getting the error

After entering a word in Portal search bar we are getting the below error

 

java.lang.NullPointerException

Script source code logged to console

ErrorFailing widget: 'Typeahead Search' (sys_id)

Is this not a OOB widget? Are you getting this error in a custom widget?

 

Could you please check the upgrade logs if any recent patch upgrade has made any changes to the widget? or maybe any other widget that your widget might be calling?
