Pre-defined filter in reports

Hi folks,
Is there a way to add a pre-defined filter to existing reports, or do I have to manually add those filters in the report?
An ITIL user has created and saved a filter on the Problem table, and now they want to add this filter (which contains multiple conditions) to an existing report on the Problem table. This will be time-consuming activity.
As far as I know, there is no direct way to do that, but perhaps someone knows a workaround or maybe I missed something.

The short answer is no - there is no other way than go into the report and create the filter as requested.
