Problems uploading an app to on-prem instance

Whenever I try to upload a store application to our on-prem instance, the upload dialog hangs indefinitely and the app isn't uploaded.
These problems seem to have started when the download certificate format changed from PEM to BCFKS.
I've created a valid BCFKS cert, allowing me to download applications from the store, but uploading to the ServiceNow instance doesn't work. I have also added the cert to ServiceNow's certificate store.
Anyone else encountered this problem?
