Hi,

What information does "process step" column provide from Approvals (sysapproval_approver) table?

I did not find any reference about it in help guide.

Can we use it to provide some information about my the application that triggered the approval in that column? Like the stage the application is in so that our approvers do not need to open it to understand at what stage it is? (Like New, Manager Approval , HR approval stage etc)

it is 2007 legacy : Legacy:Process Guides - ServiceNow Wiki

Unfortunately of little use out of the box these days.
