Propose a new Standard Change Template- Change Request Values field mandatory

Hi,

We have a requirement to make Change Request Values fields mandatory for 'Propose a new Standard Change Template' record producer as users are deleting the existing fields and Saving the Standard change proposal request without filling the required fields which is leading the invalid creation of Standard change template requests. But I dont find these fields as variables of record producer as they are getting loaded from macros.

Please help me in understanding how we can make those fields mandatory.

Change Request is of type custom with label which is calling macros.

How can i edit the assignment group of that variable in record producer template...the requirement is to add the filter in assignment group...for example (name should not contain Approval)...this filter should be applied by default on that variable....but issue is i am not getting where that variable is coming from.
