Publishing translation for knowledge article is not creating draft article

HI ,

We are using TMS for translating knowledge articles. Once retrieved and published no draft article is created but getting a message saying "successfully published".

Has any one faced this issue ever?

Any suggestions are welcome

@Yuva_55,

Just as a note, this isn't the best place to post these types of questions, we have a dedicated i18n forum available here  🙂
- If you're able to move this thread to there for consistency (and to help others) that would be greatly appreciated,

Best guess from what you are saying, it sounds like you might not have KM Version'ing enabled which I've seen in the past block the creation of the "draft" article. Despite the message stating "published", the intention of the LF flow is that it creates a new child (translated) "draft" article which would then follow the workflow defined on the KB it's in,

Many thanks,
kind regards

Hi @Alex Coope - SN ,

Thanks for reply. I will move the thread.

KM versioning is enabled in the instance.

Below is the steps that we are performing-

1. Configured the localization framework setting

2. requesting the translation for the articles

3. details will be sent to TMS

4. once translated in TMS we are retrieving it

5. On retrieved, in comparison page we are clicking on "publish translation"

Once we click on "publish translation", expectation like you said is creation of a draft article. But currently it is not creating any article and getting the message "successfully published the translation".
