Question on adding flow designer to Update Set

Hello,

We recently update our instance from Paris to Rome and would like to know how to add flow to an update set.

In Paris release, we saw Add to Update Set under Action on Selected Row dropdown

However, in Rome release, that option is not there.  Could someone please help?  Thanks

Also would like to mention that in order to capture the Flow again, Navigate to the module by typing "sys_hub_flow.LIST" in Application navigator menu as shown below and hit enter

find_real_file.png

Now select your flow record which you want to capture and Add it to your Update set as shown below:

Or you can also edit the flow using Flow Designer module and that should automatically capture it as well.

Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.

Hi Lisa,

The "Add to update set" option has been removed in Rome and later release. However, if you want to add this option, please refer this link:

https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_article&sys_id=171d5a76dbaaf410847d5ac2ca961...

Or can you try to edit and republish the flow once in your Update Set, I think it should be enough as it will capture the Flow.

Please mark correct/helpful if this works

This statement is incorrect "The "Add to update set" option has been removed in Rome and later release. "

This is an utility and I have been using it on Rome only in my current project and PDI both.

Solution proposed is a custom solution which can be n number of types on similar requirement.

Please do cross check before claiming this.

Shloke

I tried your suggestion steps again.  This time, I logout of SN and also rebooted the system.

I'm not sure the logout of SN or reboot the system helped, but the "Add to update set" is not showing up in the dropdown.

Thank you so much.

Correction on typo:

I'm not sure the logout of SN or reboot the system helped, but the "Add to update set" is now showing up in the dropdown

Lisa,

Please try the below steps:

1. Go to field navigator -> sys_remote_update_set.LIST

2. Import XML -> Add_to_Update_Set_Global_v7.3

3. Open the above record, run Preview on this update set.

4. Once previewed, Commit this update set.

5. Go to the flow designer table. Refresh the instance.

6. 'Add to Update Set' should appear in dropdown.

Let me know if this works!
