"Show XML" on Mac Firefox not formatting properly

I've started using Firefox in the office as my main browser this week because of some unsolvable corruption problems with Chrome. I prefer Firefox over Safari.

I use "Show XML" multiple times a day and have noticed that on this computer when running Firefox the displayed XML window results either strip out the tags or display the XML in a single line string which isn't easily readable. When the tags display I'm having to copy and paste the XML into an editor and pretty print it.

I realize this is not a ServiceNow issue, but haven't found a Firefox solution elsewhere.  If anyone else has had and solved this problem, I'd love to know what you did. Thanks!

May be a browser cache issue.

Try incognito and see if the issue still persists

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the problem persists. It is specific to this Firefox install and this computer though. I did work from home with Firefox over the weekend and XML displayed fine.

You might have to uninstall and install the latest version of Firefox on your office computer.

Anyhow you were able to figure out the rootcause.

I uninstalled/reinstalled and problem persisted.

My next step was to create a new user profile. I can now see property formatted XML.
