Hi,
We are trying to hide the fields in the filter of the list view of a table but when analysed got to know that ACL Script and ACL condtion does not have any impact on fields in the filter(Context = null) so only way to hide the fields is via Role based ACL .
So please let us know if this is how ACL works or it's a known bug.
If it's a know issue can we hide the fieldss in the filter in any other way other than the role based ACL.
Please suggest. Any sort of help will be really appreciated.
1) I have written an ACL (Table.*) to hide all the fields of a table 'u_test'. In this i have set 'answer = false'.
2) Now when i go to the list view of u_test table I can see field values are hidden but the field is still present on the list header and in the filter drop down.
3) But if i update the same ACL and instead of using 'script'/'condition' i provide the role say 'admin' then the fields are hidden from the list header and the filter as well for the non-admin user.
