Received instance activity warning in the middle of upgrading the instance

My PDI dev284484 has been in the midst of an upgrade. And today, I received a PDI inactivity warning. 

 

It seems as though this upgrade is stuck in progress (it has been several days), is the only remedy to release it and request a new one?

Yes mate, there’s no other choice. The reason is that PDI doesn’t come with support, so no one can help here. It’s better to release this and get a new instance.
